According to a report on global military expenditure by Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), India increased its defence spending by 3.1 per cent to USD 66.5 billion in 2018 while Pakistan hiked it by a hefty 11 per cent to touch USD 11.4 billion.
